When we arrived at the motel we saw these.
Inside there were these lights. Barely light enough to see what you were reading.
We were right next to the airport so all through the night we had to hear these going by every 5-10 minutes.
Then Eric, my mom’s oldest and someone who I would rather not spend time with, decided to take the family to Coronado. It is a beach town in S.D. and the hotel that is right next to the beach was an exclusive type place where famous people like John Wayne stayed at. I went for my mom’s sake.
The inside was gorgeous. The chandeliers were my favorite part of the décor.
The 3rd part will be coming soon so look forward to more of the inside of the hotel and the beach. 🙂
The first day started with this to show me. We left at 6AM for a 6-7 hr drive.
Then we were off and on the road towards San Diego.
Wasn’t sure what this building was. It looked so cool and interesting though.
At a rest stop we saw these little birdies. Hunting for worms.
And we also saw these. Annoyed the crap out of me. And then we were in L.A. The traffic was insanely hectic and it took about an hour to get out of there. Typical, huh?
Then we were at the Motel. You’ll see more in the next one. 🙂 The drive was long and L.A. traffic was chaos and annoying, but overall it was enjoyable. I was surprised that it was cooler there and I was glad. It made the trip that much more worth it. Day 1 part 2 tomorrow. 🙂
