San Diego Day 1 Part 2

When we arrived at the motel we saw these.

Inside there were these lights. Barely light enough to see what you were reading. DSCN3940

We were right next to the airport so all through the night we had to hear these going by every 5-10 minutes.DSCN3952

Then Eric,  my mom’s oldest and someone who I would rather not spend time with, decided to take the family to Coronado. It is a beach town in S.D. and the hotel that is right next to the beach was an exclusive type place where famous people like John Wayne stayed at. I went for my mom’s sake.

The inside was gorgeous. The chandeliers were my favorite part of the décor.DSCN3960

The 3rd part will be coming soon so look forward to more of the inside of the hotel and the beach. 🙂

Wasn’t sure what this building was. It looked so cool and interesting though.

At a rest stop we saw these little birdies. Hunting for worms.DSCN3927

And we also saw these. Annoyed the crap out of me. DSCN3930And then we were in L.A. The traffic was insanely hectic and it took about an hour to get out of there. Typical, huh?DSCN3932

DSCN3931DSCN3938Then we were at the Motel. You’ll see more in the next one. 🙂 The drive was long and L.A. traffic was chaos and annoying, but overall it was enjoyable. I was surprised that it was cooler there and I was glad. It made the trip that much more worth it. Day 1 part 2 tomorrow. 🙂
